Bottles on the ballot: Prada Infusion de Tubereuse, Dior J'adore L'Or, and Tom Ford Azure Lime
Eau boy! For the first time ever, the Fragrance Foundation is letting consumers choose a winner at the annual Fifi Awards.
Traditionally, the industry has elected all of the honorees, but that’s about to change with the introduction of the 2011 Consumers’ Choice Award for Fragrance of the Year category, reports Fashionista. By simply visiting the Fragrance Foundation’s Web site and casting your vote, you—yes, you!—can join the ranks of those in the nose … er, know.
Bottles on the ballot include Gucci Guilty, Prada Infusion de Tubereuse, Balenciaga Paris, J’adore L’Or, and Tom Ford Azure Lime as well as celebrity spritzes such as Eva by Eva Longoria, Outspoken by Fergie, and Halle by Halle Berry Pure Orchid.
According to the Fragrance Foundation’s site, “Nominees for the 2011 Consumers Choice Award cross all fragrance distribution channels, a reflection of the wide breadth of perfume pleasures, artistry, and creativity that continually captivate our senses of smell, not to mention a nod to the sometimes difficult purchasing decisions we fragrance shoppers make at fragrance counters across the U.S. (both real and virtual).”
Want to get in your two scents? Then cast your vote for your favorite women’s and men’s fragrances between now and midnight on May 12. The winners will be announced May 25 at the 2011 FiFi Awards & Celebration, which will be held in the tent at Damrosch Park at NYC’s Lincoln Center.
