Fifi Awards 2011 Nominees Include Christina Aguilera, Fergie, and Halle Berry

The Fragrance Foundation has announced its initial list of nominees for the 2011 Fifi Awards and, as usual, it’s a starry bunch. (What celebrity doesn’t have a fragrance these days?)
On the designer side, Tom Ford, Chanel, and Prada have each picked up two nods, while Marc Jacobs Bang, Gucci Guilty, and Balenciaga Paris are also represented. Anthropologie, Gap, Bath & Body Works, and Payless are also nominated in the Women’s Specialty Retailer category, which specifies that the fragrance is carried exclusively by one retailer.
The Women’s Broad Appeal category is dominated by celebrity fragrances: Avril Lavigne’s Forbidden Rose, Christina Aguilera’s Eau de Parfum and the performer's By Night, Daddy Yankee’s DYamante, Eva Longoria’s Eva, Halle Berry’s Pure Orchid, and S by Shakira among them, while Antonio Banderas holds his own in the Men’s Broad Appeal with his fragrance The Secret.
Meanwhile, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie also got a nod for her Avon scent, Outspoken, in the Direct to Consumer category.
The Fifi Finalists Breakfast will take place April 8.
