Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino Campaign – You'll Need a Cold Shower

Tom Ford Beauty gets wet and wild for its Neroli Portofino ad campaign.
Designer Tom Ford is no stranger to making headlines for his scintillatingly sexy ads, but his latest campaign might really get people in a lather: In new promo photos for the Neroli Portofino bath collection, a nude Denisa Dvorakova is seen cavorting in a shower with an equally naked male model.
The provocative skin pics appear on Ford’s Web site. In one shot, Dvorakova is shown topless as her buff guy stands behind her, rinsing her hair with a bottle of the unisex scent.
A second photo shows the sudsy couple bare-bottomed and playing dirty: He’s giving her an eyeful of Neroli (ouch!) while she’s splashing him below the belt—if he were wearing one, that is.
The Neroli Portofino bath collection is an extension of the original fragrance, which features Tunisian neroli, Italian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, winter yellow mandarin, lavender, orange flower, rosemary, and ambersite. “The Neroli Portofino scent, which is one of the most popular scents in the Private Blend Collection, has a crisp and effervescent quality that is entirely present in every element of these body products,” says Ford.
The collection, an homage to Portofino, a resort town on the Italian Riviera, comes in turquoise packaging that recalls the Mediterranean and is available as an eau de parfum, body moisturizer, shower gel, body oil, body scrub, and bath soap.
Considering the campaign’s racy theme, Ford might consider adding scented candles and champagne to the line. (We don't, however, expect bathrobes at any point.)
It remains to be seen how much of a splash the steamy ads will make with the public, but in the meantime, we’ll admit it: Our bathtime was never this much fun.
