Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin? You betcha!
In an exclusive first look photo from the upcoming HBO movie Game Change, Moore gets her governor on in the outspoken Alaskan’s signature updo, eyeglasses, and sensible business suit.
Game Change, which begins production April 27, is based on the book of the same name and tracks Arizona senator John McCain’s 2008 campaign for the White House, his selection of Palin as his running mate, and their ultimate defeat.
With her brown beehive and spectacles, the redheaded actress is a dead ringer for Palin, and the red-jacket-and-skirt combo is certainly fitting. Sure, it ain’t exactly a look from the presentations of Moore’s pal Tom Ford, but it is quite similar to the ensembles Palin wore when she hit the campaign trail (the RNC reportedly spent $150,000 to clothe her in pieces from designers such as Valentino, Cole Haan, and Akris Punto).
We can’t wait to see what Moore will wear next as Palin—perhaps something from Talbots?
