Hooray for designers creating affordable lines!
Jean Paul Gaultier is launching a lower-priced collection for both men and women in June of 2014, WWD reports.
Gaultier signed a five-plus-five year agreement with Ittierre SpA, which has produced diffusion collections for brands including Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Pierre Balmain, and Karl Lagerfeld.
"The newly acquired license confirms our desire to work with leading players in fashion," Ittierre's general director Alessandro Locatelli said.
The name of the new line has yet to be announced, but will be targeted toward a younger consumer who appreciates Gaultier's sense of style.
We're banking on some affordable Madonna cone bras.
