Monica Bellucci is Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up’s New Face
It’s about time that oh-so-Italian fashion house found an Italian to front it!
After teaming up with the American Scarlett Johansson and the English Felicity Jones, Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up has tapped Italian actress Monica Bellucci as the new face of the line.
"We love Monica and have worked with her many times over the past 20 years. Her beauty is timeless," said Domenico Dolce in a release.
"She expresses perfectly the Dolce & Gabbana woman," added Stefano Gabbana. "She is ravishing—a true Italian icon."

Bellucci will not only star in the Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up cosmetics campaign, but she’s collaborated with the brand for her own line of lipsticks, dubbed (appropriately) the Monica Lipstick Collection. (The line won’t launch until May 12, but something tells us there will have to be a red lipstick involved.)
"I'm delighted to be collaborating with Domenico and Stefano on Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up," Bellucci said. "I have always adored the aesthetic of Dolce & Gabbana and it's so exciting to be involved with their creative process."
