Net-a-Porter's Launching a Print Magazine

Net-a-Porter continues to grow it's luxury empire with plans to release a print magazine within the next 12 months, something that has been on the site's horizon since it's inception in 2000.

Net-a-Porter's founder, Natalie Massenet, who previously worked at WWD and Tatler, has always approached the site as if it were a magazine. Over the past twelve years Massenet has found innovative ways to work with advertisers by launching the site's weekly magazine, video channel, and mobile apps. Creating a print magazine, which other booming retail sites like NastyGal and Asos have already done, seems like a natural next step.

"Traditional publishers always say that we are lucky for being born in a digital age and don't have a legacy of print. But we still see it as important," Net-a-Porter's CEO Mark Sebba said. "It isn't a secret that Net-a-Porter will be publishing a major fashion magazine within the next 12 months or so."

Sebba did not provide any details regarding when the magazine will actually come into fruition nor how often it will be published, but as avid lovers of anything Net-a-Porter in our mailbox we'll most certainly be subscribing.
