Net-a-Porter Recruits Alexa Chung and Anna Dello Russo
You might just recognize Net-a-Porter's two latest model hires.
The luxury online retailer has tapped Alexa Chung and Vogue Japan's Anna Dello Russo as its first celebrity models for its Spring 2011 print magazine.
In their first modeling shots for the site—which just launched a digital TV station—Chung wears a red lace Erdem cocktail dress while the always kooky Dello Russo pairs her Roksanda Ilincic number with a candy-pink wig (how very Lady Gaga!), lobster hat (ditto!), and pup.
"The fashion industry has been increasingly inspired by the front-row personalities and it seemed a natural fit for its most-photographed stars Alexa and Anna to showcase Net-a-Porter's spring looks in their respective iconic styles," Net-a-Porter editorial director Claudia Plant said in a press release.
"For us they represent the two directions of the season. The spring offers a broad spectrum of choice and we hope the latest issue of our print magazine will both excite and inspire."
The only bummer: That puppy isn't for sale.
The Net-a-Porter magazine will be available to order online for $10 beginning February 16.
