Jil Sander Pulls Her Name from Milan Fashion Week

Looks like Bill Blass isn't the only one dropping out of Fashion Week.
Jil Sander, who only just returned to her namesake label 6 months ago, pulled her name from September's Milan Fashion Week calendar to hold two shows independently.
Verdict is she did this because of the controversial scheduling between Milan and Paris Fashion Week. Most shows in Milan are crammed into four days, and designers fear that editors will leave for Paris before Milan's week is even over.

Jil Sander has yet to announce the date of her two independent shows, but as everyone awaits her first womenswear collection since her return, there's no doubt it will draw quite the fashion crowd.
