Get ready to do a rain dance, gals!

Shoe addicts will no doubt be checking the weather forecast this November thanks to the Fall 2012 launch of Gilles Mendel's luxury take on the classic Hunter rain boot, Women's Wear Daily reports.

Following their wildly popular collaboration with Jimmy Choo (croc wellies? yes please), the outdoorsy Scottish brand has enlisted the J.Mendel designer to create a limited-edition line featuring three styles.

Hunter, like J.Mendel, is a brand that combines a strong European heritage and reputation for quality with a modern-day relevance,” Susan Sokol, president and chief operating officer of J.Mendel, tells WWD. “We thought it would be a fun, innovative way of showcasing the expertise J.Mendel is known for.”

Available in both tall and short versions, with a choice of black, white, or a branded J.Mendel ankle buckle, the boots will be priced from $585 to $795 at hunter-boot.com, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Gorsuch.

Hmm. At that price, you might actually want to steer clear of those puddles after all.
