Anna Wintour may have been recently honored for her commitment to the LGBT community, but now it’s Tom Ford’s turn to sign on to the cause.

The designer has teamed up with GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, the Ad Council, and director Brett Ratner to launch the Think Before You Speak campaign, which aims “to educate straight teens about the prevalence and consequences of anti-LGBT bias and behavior in America’s schools,” according to the organization’s website.

Think Before You Speak is calling for people to submit 30-second public service announcement videos, which will be judged by Ratner and Ford.

“I am delighted to be working with GLSEN on this important and timely campaign to emphasize how powerful words can be and how crucial it is to think before you speak,” Ford told People. “I am excited to see the submissions from aspiring filmmakers around the world and look forward to picking the most compelling ones. This campaign creates a tremendous opportunity to help us all raise awareness of this issue.”

The winter of the PSA contest will receive an award at GLSEN’s annual Respect Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on May 24.
