Daphne Guinness Auctioning Off Wardrobe for Isabella Blow Foundation
Need something special to wear with your pigeon-blood-hued Daphne Guinness for MAC nail polish? You're in luck.
The fashion muse has teamed up with Christie's London to auction off 100 pieces from her dreamy designer-laden wardrobe, Auction Central News reports. Dibs on the McQueen!
Running from June 23 to 27, the auction will see proceeds being used to help champion young designers through the Isabella Blow Foundation, which Guinness launched in memory of her late friend and fellow fashion provocateur, who committed suicide in 2007. A portion of proceeds will also be donated to mental health charities.
The announcement comes nearly two years after Guinness famously purchased Blow's own personal wardrobe to avoid it being auctioned off by Christie's and split up. Best friend ever?
