Henry Holland to Co-Host Rihanna's Fashion Reality Show
Henry Holland is in the house!
The flamboyant British designer has signed on to co-host, alongside pop star Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud fame, the upcoming Sky Living HD fashion reality series being executive-produced by Rihanna.
Set to air in the U.K. this summer (note to self: find British friend to record), the reality competition will challenge wannabe designers and stylists to take celebrity fashion by storm.
From the sounds of it, it's a dream assignment for Holland, whose designs have been worn by Rihanna on countless occasions. The singer also recently tapped his BFF Agyness Deyn for her "We Found Love" music video.
"She’s the coolest woman in the world," he tells Grazia of the Emporio Armani Underwear campaign star.
"She looked so f---ing amazing at the Grammys! She knows what works on her; she never looks like she’s been dressed. You can tell she loves fashion."
For contestants facing the ultimate prize of creating an outfit for Rihanna to wear in concert, Holland has this piece of advice: "It’s about creating something that fits within the musician’s brief and image, but it also has to stay true to your own aesthetic as a designer."
