Rihanna Signs on for Fashion Reality TV Show
She found love in a hopeless place ... but can Rihanna find the next Christopher Kane?
The pop star/Armani campaign frontwoman has signed on to executive-produce and appear in a new fashion reality show airing on Sky Living HD in the U.K.
Rihanna will join forces with another singer, Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud fame, to seek out Britain's most promising aspiring designers, tasking them with creating outfits for a variety of musicians and celebrities.
The 10-week search will conclude with the opportunity to design a costume for Rihanna to wear during her performance at Wireless in London's Hyde Park this July.
"I've always had a great love of fashion," the budding designer says. "It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today.
"I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage. I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."
