Kate Moss Named Face of Mango’s Spring 2012 Ad Campaign
Last year Kate Moss and Terry Richardson played thieves clearing out a Mango boutique.
Now it looks like the duo have stolen the Spanish retailer's heart as well.
Based on the success of that on-screen heist (which was played during Mango's Fall 2011 fashion show), the British supermodel has been tapped to replace Isabeli Fontana as the face of the brand, with a smoking-hot Spring 2012 ad campaign lensed by her partner in crime.
"I’m really excited to be working with Mango for S/S 2012," Moss says in a press statement.
"We had a great time shooting the campaign. The team are so easy to work with and shooting with Terry is always fun."
Along with a print campaign showcasing tribal prints and '60s-inspired looks, Moss and Richardson will reunite for a second spot, "Spy Game."
Shot in London, the commercial will begin airing throughout Europe in March.
"[Moss] is a reference in the fashion world and embodies the type of urban, independent, and bold woman Mango wants to dress," says the label, which had been rumored to have reunited with former campaign star Scarlett Johansson.
And they say crime doesn't pay.
