Jil Sander's haunting Spring 2012 ad campaign
Somebody's been a busy girl!
After starring in Proenza Schouler's jungle-themed Spring 2012 ads, Natasha Poly is doubling up with Jil Sander's latest campaign.
Shot by Willy Vanderperre (who also lensed the Proenza shoot) under the creative direction of Raf Simons, the Hitchcockian images see Pirelli calendar girl Poly suited up in a '50s-esque emerald green dress paired with white pumps and a wine-hued pillbox hat with a matching veil.
But the ads are as spooky as they are chic. Poly and fellow model Daria Strokous lend a don't-go-down-to-the-basement vibe as they cautiously climb down a dark staircase and peer through a broken pane of glass.
We'll be dreaming about that Joan Harris-worthy dress ... and nightmare-ing about what's on the other side of that window. Eek!

If you're going to be a damsel in distress at least do it the Jil Sander way.
