Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show Live
It can be a bit of a letdown when a fashion show lasts just 10 minutes—six months of work, over in the blink of an eye (and the flash of a camera). But Cotton Incorporated's upcoming round-the-clock catwalk will satisfy the style-obsessed and then some.
The fabric brand is staging a veritable marathon of fashion: The 24 Hour Runway Show, which will showcase 1,440 looks on bevies of models. That’s one look every minute—and FashionEtc will be streaming the entire thing, live from South Beach, Miami.
E!'s Giuliana Rancic will serve as the event's host, with appearances by Bill Rancic, Michael Yo and Carla Fisher, and tunes provided by the likes of DJ Irie, DJ Ross One, DJ Joe Maz, Aulden Brown, Juan Mejia, and DJ Mia Morretti featuring Caitlin Moe.
And of course, we not only want you to watch, but participate as well! FashionEtc will be live blogging the whole extravaganza—yep, all 24 hours of it!—right here, providing commentary and asking you to chime in with your own feedback and comments. You can also join the conversation on Twitter, using the hashtag #cotton24hours.
“Cotton is the everyman fabric,” said Ric Hendee, Cotton Incorporated Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing, in a press statement. “The runway show illustrates in a significant way the breadth of cotton fashion possibilities. No matter who you are, there is a cotton look that fits your lifestyle, 24 hours a day.”
The runway show kicks off on November 19 an noon (EST), and we’re certainly up for the all-nighter. See you there!
