Reese Witherspoon Stars in Lindex Ad Campaign
Katie Holmes and Eva Mendes aren't the only stars who are taking their fashion modeling skills abroad.
Swedish label Lindex has tapped Reese Witherspoon to front its Fall 2011 ad campaign, appropriately dubbed "California Denim."
The Avon brand ambassador flaunts loose blonde waves and soft, peachy makeup for the relaxed shoot, which features '70s-inspired denim pieces (like a ruffle-trimmed button-down) paired with knit tops in autumnal hues like pumpkin, ruby, and heather gray.
“I have always loved denim and knitted garments which can be mixed and matched," the Oscar winner, who rocks a wide-brimmed hat, belted sweater, and furry vest in the Hollywood Hills-based shoot, says in a press statement.
"The collection fits my lifestyle because I think it's sophisticated enough to go to a business meeting but also casual enough to be at home with your family."
Citing the collection's skinny jeans, plaid shirts, and chunky sweaters as her favorite items, the recent bride also dispenses some simple style wisdom ("learn what looks good on you") and describes her personal style as "casual, simple, and with lots of color."
