Great track record! Alexa Chung is back for a second Madewell collection.
It’s not everyday that a collaboration reaches cult status after just one outing, but Alexa Chung’s collection for Madewell, which launched a year ago, did just that.
So here’s great news for its many fans: The dynamic duo has teamed up yet again—and the fruits of their labor will hit stores September 22.
As a teaser, Madewell released an image from the new campaign that shows Chung balancing on railroad tracks in Austin, Texas, in a fuzzy sweater over a sweet Peter Pan-collared shirt.
On choosing the backdrop for the ads, the brand said in a release: “This setting was landed on because of its roadtrip feel with old motels and vintage stores along with the town’s scenic landscape.”
And noted that “Austin also has a strong music and band tie-in that reflects on Alexa’s inspiration.”
