Brad Goreski Writing Book
He rose to fame as the sensitive assistant to Rachel Zoe on the super-stylist’s Bravo reality TV show, but Brad Goreski, who parted ways with Zoe professionally last year, is doing just fine on his own.
Goreski has his own reality show debuting on Bravo next year, called It’s a Brad Brad World, and the bow tie-loving stylist just announced on Twitter that he’s working on his first book (to be published by HarperCollins subsidiary It Books), which will come out sometime next year.
The tome’s title is Born to Be Brad: Life and Style Lessons from the Front Lines of Fashion, and collaborating with Goreski on the writing will be Mickey Rapkin, a former GQ editor.
According to the publisher’s site, the book will recount stories from Goreski's childhood, including being bullied at school for loving fashion magazines, his theater days, and "playing stylist to Barbie."
The book will also take a look at his glamorous life now, and offer fashion advice and style tips.
“Sometimes the hardest thing to do is be true to yourself,” Goreski said in a statement. “I hope that Born to be Brad will inspire others to pursue their dreams, because to make dreams come true we have to listen to our hearts and not be afraid to fail."
“There’s no one out there like Brad, and this book will be as unique and creative as the style trendsetter Brad has become," said Lisa Sharkey, senior vice president and director of creative development at HarperCollins. "Fans everywhere will be empowered by his moving life story, and entertained by his wit."
