Lindsey Wixson’s Jason Wu Prom Dress
She’s barely 17, but with a face like that—and a portfolio to boot!—can you forgive us for forgetting that Lindsey Wixson’s other job is being a Wichita, Kan., high school student?
Of course, even though the lovely gap-toothed girl still has teachers and exams to deal with, at least one perk of being an in-demand model has followed her back home to the Midwest: Wixson wore a custom-created Jason Wu dress to her prom.
The royal blue draped dress fell to the knee, with a dramatic off-the-shoulder detail and a dance-floor-worthy floaty skirt, which she paired with a silver clutch, slingback heels (something tells us she can hold her own in heels better than most of her teenage counterparts), and a no-frills ’do.
This isn’t the first time Wu has made an appearance at a high school dance: Karlie Kloss sported a strapless, beaded dress by the designer at her St. Louis prom in 2009.
