Lindsey Wixson Skips London Fashion Week for High School Exams
Lindsey Wixson walked in shows from Oscar de la Renta to Rodarte to Donna Karan during New York Fashion Week, but London-goers won't see the pouty-lipped model take the runways at London Fashion Week, which kicks off on February 18 with presentations by Felder Felder and Sass & Bide.
The Versace and Miu Miu favorite (who'll definitely be making the trip to Europe for Paris Fashion Week) will skip the London leg because she has to go home to take her exams, according to Styleite.com.
That's right: The Wichita, Kan., native is only 16—high school calls!
Wixson takes her job in stride. When asked how she copes with Fashion Week stress, she replied, “It’s all a job, you know? Some days are better than others.”
