YSL Spring Campaign Film Stars Arizona Muse

From Mulberry's dreamy florals to Prada's foot-tapping Technicolor display, this season is all about the campaign video.

Now Yves Saint Laurent is the latest label to have us dimming the lights and reaching for our Milk Duds with its enchanting Spring/Summer 2011 film starring campaign star Arizona Muse.

Set to the tune of Janelle Monáe's "Mushrooms & Roses," the video sees Muse becoming one with nature as she poses against palm trees in the late Laurent's famed Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech.

Photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin—who also shot the print campaign in the same Morocco locale—directed the black-and-white film, in which Muse channels an art deco beauty in willowy black gowns, a white halter-neck jumpsuit, belted fur jacket, and a finger-wave bob.

All that glam definitely deserves two thumbs up. But which designer will be next to put girls on film?
