Taylor Swift Covers Cosmopolitan

Taylor Swift fronts Cosmo's December issue.

Thought writing a song about an ex was a good breakup move? Try scoring a sexy Cosmopolitan cover before the body is even cold!

That's just what the newly single Taylor Swift has done, gracing the December issue of Cosmo—which, incidentally, might want to lose that "Crazy for a Kennedy" headline—just weeks after splitting from Conor Kennedy.

True to her girl-next-door style, the CoverGirl spokeswoman keeps it relatively tame, posing in a silk purple top paired with a plum skirt, while the inside fashion spread sees her looking downright angelic in blue jeans and a white eyelet top.

Though Swift declined to discuss her Kennedy boyfriend, she did have plenty to say about the subject of relationships, admitting that she'd love to be a full-time mom with lots of kids one day.

"I need that unexplainable spark," she says. "I just need to see someone and feel Oh, no, uh-oh. It's only happened a few times in my life, but I feel like if I was gonna be with someone forever, it would be because I saw them and I thought, Oh, no."

Not that she'll put up with bad behavior, as anyone who's listened to her songs can vouch for.

Blue jean baby: Swift showcases her casual-chic style for Cosmo.

"I can't deal with someone wanting to take a relationship backward or needing space or cheating on you," she tells the magazine. "It's a conscious thing: it's a common-sense thing—I just don't ever want to end up in a relationship that isn't fair ever again."

"I've had a lot of dark and twisty situations happen, enough to realize that when someone exhibits signs of evoking a dark and twisty relationship and dark and twisty feelings, it's not interesting to me. I've learned when to get out. I've never wasted too much time with the wrong person and that's one thing I'm proud of."

Be warned, boys!
