Britney Spears Wears Studded Versace on Elle's October Cover

Isn't it nice to have Britney back?
Ms. Spears is pop star perfection on the October cover of Elle, where she poses for lensman Alexi Lubomirski in a studded black leather Versace dress.
Of course, that doesn't mean the new X Factor judge hasn't completely abandoned her comfy sweats (though hopefully the trucker hats are long gone).
“I love my jeans and my sweats—I’m really just a tomboy at heart," she tells the magazine. "So it’s really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian and be makeup- and hair-ready every time I go out of my house. I’m not a believer in that, you know? On the other hand, when you do wear those sweats, you’re like, Oh God, I should step it up a notch.”
Um ... maybe. At least nobody can accuse the singer of being a slouch in the style department when it comes to her fashion shoot for the magazine. Spears pairs a black Just Cavalli dress with Bulgari jewelry and shoes by none other than Kanye West, while a blue leather jacket from Jason Wu is thrown over a Dolce & Gabbana satin bra and Swarovski crystal-embellished bloomers by The Blonds.
