Annie Leibovitz Throwing Kardashian Party
Now here’s a pairing we didn’t see coming.
While Annie Leibovitz was tapped to photograph Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian for their Sears clothing line (yes, that would be the Kardashian Kollection), apparently a fast friendship was forged. The acclaimed photographer will be hosting a little pre-New York Fashion Week bash for the reality stars.
The event, taking place on September 6, will be held at Leibovitz’s Greenwich Village studio. The occasion? Ostensibly, it’s the launch of the aforementioned retail collaboration, although the clothes hit Sears sales floors weeks ago (and as StyleCaster points out, are already 30% off on the store’s site).
Regardless, this is one party we don’t want to miss.
In related news, Monica Botkier is suing Sears for allegedly knocking off one of her handbag designs for the sisters’ collection.
