Kim Kardashian's wedding invite reveals a black or white dress code for guests.

Kim Kardashian will be wearing Vera Wang and Christian Louboutin, her bridesmaids will be in green, and the guests? Glad you asked.

TV host Kathie Lee Gifford—who has snagged a coveted invite to Kardashian's August 20 nuptials to Kris Humphries—has revealed that the couple are insisting their wedding guests wear black or white to the ceremony, the Huffington Post reports.

The dress code allows for no exceptions, perhaps taking inspiration from the all-white ensembles worn at the recent vow renewals between Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and her husband Bruce.

The rules are also casting doubt on whether Kardashian—who is making her second trip down the aisle—will be steering clear of traditional white on her big day.

Kim knows better than anyone how to stay dramatic and there is no way she would let herself blend in with everyone else at her wedding by wearing a white dress,” an “insider” tells the Huffington Post. “If I know her, I bet she will wear red or some color so she pops against everyone else who will be in black or white.”

Shrewd, stylish, and strategic? Sounds about right. And while the bride-to-be has hinted about her dream dress, she hasn't mentioned a color preference.

“I am so excited,” she told Ryan Seacrest on June 20. “I have been, you know, just pulling tears of dresses that I’ve really admired, women that I’ve seen. I think I would want to do something really classic and Old Hollywood. A friend of mine said, ‘Pick one feature that you’d want to accentuate—but you can’t accentuate it all. Don’t be your typical sexy Kim. Do something totally different.’ I still want to be myself, but I want it to be so different.

“I found a lot so now it’s just ‘How do I fit those bits and pieces from everyone else and make it so unique?’ and something of my own.”

Hey, why not? It worked for pretty-in-pink bride Reese Witherspoon!

Meanwhile, Ring Pop has recreated Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring.
