Marni Launching Its First Fragrance in February 2013
Fragrances seem to be the thing to do in the fashion industry these days — and here we thought wedge sneakers were trendy.
Marni is launching it's first namesake fragrance in February 2013, WWD reports, with model Raquel Zimmermann fronting the campaign.
Contained in an adorably chic polka dot print bottle, the perfume is said to smell like a "blend of spicy and woody notes" combined with "an intense rose oil to inject voluptuousness."

But Marni creative director, Consuelo Castiglioni, says that the perfume is meant to be as quirky and independent as the women she dresses.
"It's a perfume that's quite individual, that doesn't evoke anything in particular," she told WWD. "It's for a woman who dresses herself, who doesn't follow trends but is sophisticated and also maybe a little eccentric."
The bottle will retail for $105.
