Bond No. 9’s I Love New York for Marriage Equality Fragrance
Following President Obama's landmark endorsement, same-sex marriage has landed another big-name supporter: Bond No. 9.
I Love New York for Marriage Equality, the perfume maker's seventh scent designed in collaboration with the I Love New York state agency, will celebrate gay rights by featuring a rainbow-printed heart on a "bridal white" background and the date 7-24-11, which is when the Marriage Equality Act took effect in New York State.
The unisex scent is described as "soft and sensual" with a "modern-day woody-spicy" blend of mandarin, plum, cinnamon bark, and nutmeg top notes, followed by a wedding bouquet-inspired heart of classic rose, jasmine, and ginger lily, and a rich base of cashmere wood, sandalwood, and amber.
