Scarlett Johansson’s Red Hair
It's official: Hollywood is seeing red.
Following Drew Barrymore and Blake Lively's ginger transformations, Scarlett Johansson has taken her hair from dark blonde to deep red.
The actress débuted the new "scarlet" shade—accented with subtle golden highlights—and a wavy bob at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, where she wore a duck egg blue Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall 2010 cocktail dress that gave her new color extra pop.
Like Lively, Johansson made the shade switch-up for a film role: playing the Black Widow in The Avengers, the same character for which she went red while filming Iron Man 2 in 2009.
Looks like her daring 'do has found at least one fan in new boyfriend Sean Penn—they were very publicly together at the White House dinner. (Get a room!)
