Barneys Launches Shoppable CO-OP Video Campaign

In the last few years, video ad campaigns have become de rigueur among fashion houses and brands, which often tap storied photographers and models to bring print campaigns to life. Barneys New York has gone one step further.

The department store has created men’s and women’s video campaigns for Barney’s CO-OP for Spring 2012, with each video offering a direct click-to-buy feature that appears as each model wears each ensemble. Now this is instant gratification!

Shot by Daniel Jackson, the individual videos show a group of charming models chatting about everything from their tattoos and their hometowns to their best pickup lines and their current Grindr prospects—yes, really. (Google it if you must, but better not to do it at work...)
