The Row, Olsens Named Fashion Innovators of the Year by WSJ. Magazine
Just in case being named Womenswear Designers of the Year at the CFDA Awards wasn't enough, WSJ. Magazine has added another prestigious accolade to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's trophy case.
The twins are being honored on behalf of their label The Row at the magazine's second annual Innovator of the Year Awards, which recognize the "most creative, disruptive, and influential individuals" in the world.
Winning for the fashion category, The Row will be celebrated alongside fellow winners, including Eric Eisner (Education), Patrick Kinmonth (Design), Twitter's Jack Dorsey (Technology), Theaster Gates (Art), and Wang Shu (Architecture), at a dinner hosted tonight at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

"The twin designers display an eye for nearly monastic classicism that's redefining American luxury," the magazine says in a press statement of the Olsens, who will be presented with their award by film producer Jane Rosenthal.
Anna Wintour will also be on hand, presenting Kinmonth with his award. Hmmm. Is it too late to gate-crash?
