Madonna stuns in a fluttering Vionnet dress.
Madonna was a total knockout in a blue silk-satin bias-cut gown by Vionnet at the premiere of her self-directed movie, W.E., during the 2011 Venice Film Festival.
Embellished with red beaded butterflies, the dress was a nod to her film, which features costumes reproduced from the original Madeleine Vionnet archive.
The superstar accessorized with an ivory clutch, also by Vionnet, Cartier jewelry, and red Miu Miu sunglasses (which she carried when not wearing).
Madonna completed her look with Old Hollywood curls; creamy, porcelain skin; and bold red lips.
