China Glaze’s ‘Hunger Games’ Nail Polish

Color war: China Glaze's Hunger Games-inspired nail polishes.
Katniss Everdeen, manicure junkie? Hey, it could happen—particularly when China Glaze’s Hunger Games-inspired nail polish line hits shelves.
After news that a licensing deal lawsuit between Lionsgate films and American Industries International (China Glaze's parent company) would put the polish on hold indefinitely, the collaboration in back on, with a series of sparkly shades coming this spring.
While a polish chart, leaked last month, did show the actual colors from the collection, the names have since been changed. (The updated version can be seen above.)
Inspired by the book and movie series, the new shades are far from girlie—spiced-up neutrals like glitter metallics, army green, grays and taupes are the focus of the 12-bottle Colours from the Capitol collection.
China Glaze’s Hunger Games nail polish will hit specialty beauty stores in March 2012.
