Looks like Opening Ceremony isn’t the only fashionable brand looking forward to the November 23 release of The Muppets.
OPI—which has created collections based on everything from the Kardashians to Pirates of the Caribbean—is using the lovable fuzzy creatures as inspiration for its new line of lacquers.
“OPI is so excited to work with Disney to celebrate this long-awaited movie release,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI’s executive vice president and artistic director in a release.
“Not only do The Muppets characters inspire fun, bright and joyful colors, the fashionable Miss Piggy lends her name to three high-shine pink-based hues, ranging from bold red flecked with silver to a multi-dimensional strawberry shade.”
Speaking of nail polish names, the Muppets lend themselves to some pretty hilarious ones: Meep-Meep-Meep, Warm & Fozzie, Wocka Wocka, Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It, and Rainbow Connection are just a handful of shades in the 12-color collection, which includes six glitter shades.
The nail polish will retail for $8.50 a bottle and will hit salons and stores in November.
