Eau no! Diddy is being sued over his Sean John Empress fragrance.

Could Sean Combs/Puff Daddy/Diddy have yet another name change in store?

The hip hop mogul is being sued by Empress Haircare Products over the use of the name Empress for his latest Sean John fragrance, Hip Hop Blog reports.

The hair care brand alleges that the fragrance violates its trademark of the Empress name, which it claims Sean John unsuccessfully tried to trademark twice.

According to PopCrush, lawyers for Sean John allegedly offered to pay Empress Haircare for use of the name in February 2010, but the offer was declined.

Undaunted, the company then released the new fragrance under the Empress Sean John name, with Kelly Rowland as the face of the scent.

Suing for infringement of a federally registered trademark and unfair competition, Empress Haircare is seeking monetary damages as well as three times the profits made by the fragrance. (Guess it is all about the Benjamins ...)
