Amanda Seyfried on Her Skin Care Routine, Beauty Icon, and Worst Fashion Moment
Amanda Seyfried's porcelain skin is positively Botticelli-worthy—and while we've no doubt that she can credit good genes, her gig as the face of Clé de Peau Beauté just might have something to do with it.
The actress stars in stunning ads for both Clé de Peau's skin care collection and color collection, which includes a brand-new array of lip shades and Luminizing Face Enhancer compacts, which will hit select Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Barneys locations beginning in March 2012.
FashionEtc caught up with Seyfried to talk beauty icons, perfect skin secrets, and the cringe-worthy fashion moment she just can't forget.
What are some of the products you personally swear by?
Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer and the new Enriched Lip Luminizers. The concealer instantaneously makes my skin look flawless and the Enriched Lip Luminizer is long-lasting and shines like a gloss.
Any new Clé de Peau items being launched that you're obsessed with?
I hardly put on any makeup when I don’t have a shoot but the new Luminizing Face Enhancers and the new Enriched Lip Luminizers have become my go-to when I need a quick touch-up and color.
What's your skincare routine?
Since I was first introduced to Clé de Peau Beauté, I was taught to use the complete skin care regimen together for it to be most effective. Since then, my skin has never looked better and I use the products everyday.

If you could only have one beauty product, what would it be?
Clé de Peau Beauté La Crème! I love the way my skin feels like I’ve just received a facial every morning after using La Crème the night before.
What's the best beauty advice you've ever been given?
Use sunscreen daily!
Who are your beauty icons?
Cate Blanchett. She’s wonderful without trying too hard.
Any looks you wish you never tried?
I did wear a white bra under a beautiful black Miu Miu dress once in the beginning of my career. It still makes me shudder.
