Cate Blanchett’s SK-II Commercial

She's got arguably the best complexion in Hollywood, and now Cate Blanchett is spilling beauty secrets with her very first skincare commercial (well, officially, anyway—apparently The Curious Case of Benjamin Button had something to do with a guy that aged in reverse, even though we spent the entire time fixated on the actress's face).

A longtime user and spokeswoman for SK-II, the Oscar winner is starring in a new Australian TV spot that promotes the Japanese brand's "miracle" Pitera ingredient.

Shot by fashion photographer Rankin in Taiwan's stunning Hsitou Bamboo Forest, the ad sees Blanchett looking luminous and ethereal in a white one-shouldered gown.

"I've been using SK-II for nine years now on this path to crystal-clear skin," she says, "because of the miracle of SK-II Pitera, discovered long ago in a sake brewery where even the oldest workers had clear, youthful hands.

"From the first moment, I saw my skin change and become more crystal-clear ... It's a miracle to me."

We're sold. And we might throw in a bottle of sake too ... just to be on the safe side, of course.
