Katie Holmes may be sporting his creations in her miniseries The Kennedys, but Giorgio Armani’s costume-crafting prowess will be on display on bigger screens come April 8. The Italian designer created several looks for Cate Blanchett in the Joe Wright–directed thriller Hanna.

"Working with Cate Blanchett, on and off the screen, has always been a highlight for me," Armani said in a statement. "She embodies the perfect combination of consummate actor and world-class fashion icon."

Armani, who has also contributed costumes to movies like American Gigolo, Shaft, Double Jeopardy, Ocean’s Thirteen, and The Dark Knight, worked closely with Hanna costume designer Lucie Bates on ensembles for Blanchett, who plays the film's villain, Marissa.

"Joe's vision of Marissa as the Wicked Witch of the story meant that her colors would be red [for her hair] and green [in her attire]," said Bates.

The result? Tailored pieces in dark forest green, including one gorgeous cashmere overcoat.

Hanna, which also stars Saoirse Ronan and Eric Bana, opens nationwide April 8.
