Rampart may be a gritty drama about a corrupt L.A. cop played by Woody Harrelson, but love was in the air at a special screening on November 1. Actor Stanley Tucci stepped out with his new fiancée, Felicity Blunt, at the Peggy Siegal Company’s screening and after-party at Imperial No. Nine in NYC.

The match was apparently made in designer heaven: Felicity is the sister of Tucci’s The Devil Wears Prada co-star Emily Blunt, who reportedly set the two up. Aw! Emily’s hubby is John Krasinski of The Office; sounds like family get-togethers will be pretty fabulous.

Another inseparable twosome at the screening were actors Billy Crudup and Grace Gummer—Meryl Streep’s daughter. The pair co-starred on Broadway in the play Arcadia earlier this year, and, it seems, romance has blossomed.

Also on hand were Harrelson’s Rampart co-stars Steve Buscemi, Ben Foster and Sigourney Weaver, who said that she prepared for the role by meeting with a district attorney, and by reading a lot of books that director Oren Moverman sent to her. “I was working over in Spain, and he had to send me all this material, and I must say I found it very helpful,” Weaver said, laughing. She added that despite the grim tale, the movie set was a lot of fun.

Liv Tyler, Diane Sawyer, Mike Nichols, Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor, Milos Forman, David Blaine, Courtney Love and Julie Taymor also came to toast the cast.

Later in the week, there was another kind of love in the air, sort of a Walker family reunion, when a few of Rachel Griffiths’s Brothers & Sisters co-stars turned out for her Broadway debut in Other Desert Cities. Ron Rifkin (Uncle Saul), Patricia Wettig (Holly) and Ken Olin (Holly’s husband David) all took in the drama.

Judith Light is also in the play, and her Ugly Betty co-star Michael Urie came to support.

Among the opening night guests was Renee Zellweger, stunning in a red Carolina Herrera coat over a black Lanvin dress. Her ensemble was formfitting and the actress was reed-thin, so it seems that so far she is definitely not packing on the pounds for the recently announced third Bridget Jones movie. (But please, Renee, make that film!)

Orlando Bloom arrived late to the theater, taking his seat after the lights had gone down, accompanied by a male pal. No doubt Bloom’s wife Miranda Kerr was at home rehearsing for the upcoming Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

Also in the audience were Andy Cohen, John Benjamin Hickey, Sting and Trudie Styler, Olivia Munn and Christine Lahti, who all congratulated the cast later at the Marriott Marquis after party.
