Miranda Kerr to Wear $2.5 Million Fantasy Bra at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
The buzz is starting to build for the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show—particularly when it comes to the show’s pièce de résistance, the Fantasy Bra.
Last year, Adriana Lima wore the blingy brassiere (valued at $2 million), which featured 1,542 carats of white diamonds, blue sapphires, and blue topaz.
Not to be outdone, this year’s Fantasy Treasure Bra is worth $2.5 million and will be worn by Angel Miranda Kerr.
According to People, the bra was created by London Jewelers of Long Island and boasts nearly 3,400 precious gems, including white and yellow diamonds, pearls, citrines, aquamarines, and a centerpiece featuring two eight-carat white diamonds and two 14-carat yellow diamonds.
“It’s such an honor to wear the bra,” Kerr told People. “And it’s such a piece of artwork! It’s absolutely stunning—it kind of feels a little mermaid-like—but I can’t believe I’m wearing $2.5 million on my chest.”
It’s even sweeter for Kerr, who sat out last year’s show due to her pregnancy.
“It was wonderful to have a bit of time off after I was pregnant and having Flynn,” she said. “But now I’m back in the swing of things and it feels good. I feel like more than $1 million. I feel like $2.5 million.”
Kerr already proved that when she hit the Balenciaga runway just two months after her son's birth.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air November 29 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
