Look out, Joan Rivers.
Women's Wear Daily reports that Karl Lagerfeld will be playing Fashion Police during Queen Elizabeth's jubilee this June, offering live commentary on the France 2 network.
Lagerfeld previously commentated on the Royal Wedding last year for the same network, and he wasn't short with the quips. Though the designer approved of Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen dress and loose updo, far more biting were his thoughts on Princess Beatrice's fascinator ("Where did she find that hat, in a bin? It's atrocious,") and one attendee's tapestry coat ("It looks like she's wearing a sofa on her back!’)
A royal style fanatic who's not afraid to be a little bitchy? Sounds like the Kaiser is, indeed, just like us.
