ASOS Opening It's First Store in the U.S.
We shop at ASOS so frequently it may as well be Duane Reade. We go for the essentials, the things we don't really need, and to simply browse it's endless pages of trendy goodies at affordable price points.
But ASOS has made it's mark in the fashion world as the ultimate online shopping destination, so waiting for (free) shipments has been a big part of our ASOS experience. But not anymore.
The UK-based retailer, who only just recently opened up headquarters in NYC and Sydney, is setting up their very first real-life store in a 3,325-square-foot space at 142 Greene Street in NYC's Soho! That's right, you can now browse the store's vast amounts of inventory in.the.flesh.
As of right now there is no set date for the store's opening, but you can expect us to be first in line when it does.
EDITORS NOTE:
An ASOS representative just reached out to us saying that the online retailer is NOT opening up a store in New York City. Instead, they are opening offices at 162 Greene Street in Soho, NYC. As was written in the press release, "the building is in the heart of SoHo, putting them among some of the world's top fashion companies, a perfect location for their first U.S. office."
Guess this was just wishful thinking on our end...
