Missoni Launching A Diffusion Line
Missoni is bringing their expert zigzag to the masses by finally launching a lower-priced line.
There was buzz that the Italian knitwear brand would launch a diffusion line after their wildly successful Target collaboration in 2011, and that buzz was just confirmed a reality.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Margherita Missoni, granddaughter of the fashion house's founders, the affordable range is in the early stages of production and will be launched alongside their revamped e-commerce site
"You need to evolve," Margherita told The Wall Street Journal. "If you sit for a moment, you're not relevant in fashion anymore."
The Target website crashed during the Missoni x Target craze, so we can imagine the demand for an affordable version of the brand's iconic zigzag and stripe prints will be off the charts.
