Coach Wins $257 Million in Lawsuit

Things may be looking rough for Ugg boots, but Coach is booming!
The brand was just awarded $257 million in an online counterfeiting case, the largest amount of money to be won in a counterfeit lawsuit.
Along with the record-breaking amount of money, Coach is shutting down 600 websites that have been selling fake Coach bags and other accessories.

While it's unlikely that Coach will ever see this money (it's hard to track down the people running those websites), it does set the precedent that these counterfeit companies will be caught and they'll be hell to pay for it.
