Jennifer Lopez has it made in the shades in her latest music video, “I’m Into You.” The island-flavored storyline features the singer on a Tulum, Mexico, beach, keeping her cool in classic Gucci aviators.

The sizzling video opens with the L’Oreal Paris brand ambassador relaxing on the sands at night, eyeing a shirtless guy as he runs toward her. She wears a white bikini and the Italian fashion house’s lilac-colored metal sunglasses, which include a double bridge and a mini “Gucci” insignia on the lower left portion of the lens. The retro ’80s style—which made its début on the Spring/Summer runway—is produced under license by Safilo Group.

Once the music kicks in, Lopez’s eyewear comes off and she is seen gyrating in a metallic minidress, preening before the Chichen Itza Mayan ruins in a flowing snake-print halter dress and matching turban (yes, the head wrap is a spring trend), and dancing in a fringed bra and skirt.

“Juxtaposing natural locations and history with spectacular bursts of unexpected color to create true art, the video is a series of vignettes that celebrates old and new, ancient and modern, vintage and couture,” Gucci said in a statement.

The Venus razors spokesmodel is clearly a huge fan of the fashion house. Besides wearing a super-sexy red silk chiffon number by the label at the 2011 Met Costume Institute Gala, Lopez has also starred in ads for the Gucci Children’s Collection alongside her 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Gucci lilac aviators, which retail for $295, will be available in 2 to 3 weeks at Gucci boutiques and Solstice sunglass boutiques.
