Kate Middleton’s Wedding Shoes: Dune Strappy Sandals?
Now that Sophie Cranston seems to have the lock on creating Kate Middleton’s wedding dress, it’s time to stop tiptoeing around the subject of the bride-to-be’s footwear.
Though Kate was recently spied eyeing a pair of Gina heels during a shopping spree at Selfridges with mom Carole and sister Pippa, it seems she may have kicked those shoes to the curb. According to the Telegraph, Pippa was spotted making a separate trip to the British department store, where she snapped up a pair of strappy Droplet sandals from Dune.
The elegant satin shoes retail for £110 ($179 U.S.) and feature a large diamante “teardrop” not unlike the one those of us who didn’t get a wedding invite will be sporting on April 29.
Was Pippa picking up her sister’s “I do” shoes or was she buying them for herself? That remains to be seen, but this much we know: The dazzling little numbers will have either woman looking quite well-heeled when she makes her way through Westminster Abbey.
