Stella McCartney Beats Karl Lagerfeld and Victoria's Secret as U.K.'s Most Searched Fashion Term Online
Taking the internet by storm, Stella McCartney has gone viral.
Recently named British Fashion Awards' Designer of the Year, McCartney is more than just the It Brit of the moment, she's a digital diva.
Edging out industry icon Karl Lagerfeld and lingerie powerhouse Victoria's Secret, McCartney was just ranked the highest fashion-related search term in the 2012 Google Zeitgeist list, according to Vogue U.K.
As part of the annual round-up, which measures the fastest-growing searches over the last 12 months, Lagerfeld came in second, closely followed by Victoria's Secret in third, Alice Temperley in fourth and Versace in fifth place.
Kate Middleton was one of the most-searched-for people of 2012, and with her recently-announced pregnancy and general Middleton mania, we can bet that search term will stick.
