She may have designed Britain’s 2012 Olympic uniforms, but Stella McCartney took home the fashion gold at the 2012 British Fashion Awards.
Edging out Christopher Kane and Mary Katrantzou for the Designer of the Year Award and Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Mulberry for the coveted Designer Brand Award, McCartney was certainly the all-around champ.
With beloved Manolo Blahnik nabbing the Outstanding Achievement Award, many of the other awards went to industry newbies, from Roksanda Illincic and Erdem to J.W. Anderson and Jonathan Saunders.
While Moss-in-the-making, Cara Delevingne, scored the model award, "It Brit" Alexa Chung took home the British Style Award for an impressive third year in a row.
