Madonna's Iconic Conical Bra Corset Sells for $48,075 at Auction
Nothing like scoring the sexy material worn by the Material Girl herself.
Madonna's famous conical corset bra brought in the big bucks ($48,075 to be exact) at an auction at Christie's auction house in South Kensington, London, according to the Daily Mail.
The Jean Paul Gaultier-designed green silk bustier with conical cups was worn by Madonna back on her 1990 'Blond Ambition' tour, and then again during a performance in Barcelona on August 1, 1990.
With peppermint beads and clustered sequins at the cups and hip line, the design is certainly a hot piece of Hollywood history.
Along with the famous bra, the black Lycra two-piece (black satin bustier and Lycra shorts stitched to a mesh bodice) worn by Madonna in her 1990 hit 'Vogue' in the stadium, was also up for bidding.
